Aches and Pains Week: Finding Function

Member: $60 | Non-Member: $75 | Drop In: $15

Suffering from chronic pain, stiffness, and discomfort? Just completed physical therapy and not sure what to do next? The Aches and Pains Series: Finding Function course is geared toward educating you on exercise and stretches that may benefit you as you work to manage and/or recover from injuries and pain. While this is not a replacement for physical therapy this program is intended to help you transition from rehabilitation to functional gains. Each session is 30 minutes in length.

Tai Chi is a low-impact exercise that puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it suitable for many older adults. It is a graceful form of exercise that involves a series of movements, known as forms, which are performed in a slow, focused manner combined with controlled breathing. No special equipment is needed. It can be practiced indoors or outdoors, either alone or in a group.
