Summer Camps at EQT REC Center

GREAT NEWS!

Thanks to the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through the Community Food Bank of Greater Pittsburgh, lunch and snacks will be provided for all campers.

Register your child for Summer Camp at EQT REC Center and give them an experience they’ll never forget. With day camps and specialty camps to choose from, you’ll have the peace of mind that comes with knowing your little one is well taken care of in a fun, safe environment, while they make memories to last a lifetime. Regular Registration:
April 1 – May 18

Camp Dates:
June 4 – August 24

Our day camps are offered weekly, June 4 through August 24. Campers will participate in fun and exciting activities throughout the day like group games, arts and crafts, rock climbing, team building events, and more. Please wear tennis shoes! Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided, thanks to the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through the Community Food Bank of Greater Pittsburgh.

Ages: 

5 – 13 years old (Campers will be grouped by ages)

Camp Times:*

7:00am – 9:00am: Parent Drop off

9:00am – 4:00pm: Organized Camp

4:00pm – 6:00pm: Parent Pick Up

Packages available: 

5 days/week = $100 /week

3 days/week = $70 /week

2 days/week = $50 /week

The Typical Camp Day:

  • 7:00am – 9:00am: Parent drop off
  • 9:00am – 9:30am: Camp Morning Rally
  • 9:30am – 11:30am: Activity (sports, science, or day camp specific)
  • 11:30am – 12:30pm: Lunch
  • 12:30pm – 1:00pm: Transition to areas prepare for next activity
  • 1:00pm – 3:00pm: Activity
  • 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Games/ down time
  • 4:00pm – 6:00pm: Parent pick up

* Parents can pick up their children at any time throughout the day.

Join us at EQT REC Center for a summer of Specialty Camps—week-long camps with specific curriculums for sports and interests.

Sports Camp: 

All levels welcome! Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer Camps are designed to teach the fundamentals of the chosen sport in a fun and challenging environment. The campers will spend time working on their technique, skills, sportsmanship, and participate in mini tournaments together.

There is also a strength and conditioning aspect included with each sport to teach the importance of sports conditioning and nutrition.

Wrestling Camp: 

Wrestling Camp is designed with an emphasis on fundamental wrestling techniques and the philosophy of wrestling in all three positions. Improving and having fun are main objectives of this camp.

Science and Adventure Camp: 

Science and Adventure Camp gives campers the opportunity to learn about science through interactive and hands-on science activities. Our summer science camps let children become junior scientists for the summer and embark on a series of science adventures!
