Indoor Turf Field

Weather won’t dampen sports events and practices at EQT REC Center’s climate-controlled, indoor turf field. The synthetic turf is the perfect foundation for any sport normally played on natural grass fields. The facility will accommodate soccer and football practices, games, and tournaments, and is available for full- and half-field hourly rentals.

Batting/Pitching Tunnels

EQT REC Center’s indoor synthetic turf field doubles as the foundation for state-of-the-art batting and pitching tunnels. Lowered onto the field from above, these tunnels are the perfect solution for school and league teams whose practices and skill drills require the use of protective tunnels. They’re also a great place to host workshops or clinics for athletes who are ready to take their baseball or softball skills to the next level. Unaffected by the weather, EQT REC Center batting and pitching tunnels can be rented individually, or can fill the entire indoor turf area for large-scale batting and pitching events.

Full-Court Gymnasium

The regulation-size gymnasium at EQT REC Center allows for full-court and half-court basketball practices, games, and tournaments. It is also the perfect place for volleyball and pickleball. The facility is equipped to host sizable crowds with ample spectator seating and the latest scoreboard technology.

The gymnasium at EQT REC Center features wide-open spaces, maple flooring, and access to partial and full amenities upon request:

  • Audio and video equipment
  • Sports-specific equipment, such as nets and cones
  • Restrooms for players and spectators

EQT REC Center features both indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for your special event. Whether planning for a group of 20 or 200, our event specialists can help you select the rental space and support services that will make your event one to remember.

Special event spaces include:

  • Ballroom. Rent one space, two, or all three for a large-group event that can seat up to 200 people.
  • Pavilion. An outdoor pavilion with access to restrooms and facility amenities can be configured to meet small and large event needs for up to 130 guests.
